What JS Event Ops is

JS Event Ops is scheduling, staffing, time-tracking, and crew-communication software for event production companies. It helps operators build call sheets, assign crew, record clock-in/out activity, track meal breaks, and generate timesheet exports.

JS Event Ops is not payroll software

JS Event Ops does not process payroll, remit wages or taxes, or file payroll tax returns, and is not a payroll provider. Regular/overtime/double-time breakdowns, meal-break flags, and exported timesheets are provided as a scheduling and timekeeping convenience only, based on the data entered into the system and the clock actions performed by crew members.

No guarantee of legal or payroll compliance

Wage-and-hour law — including overtime rules, meal- and rest-break requirements, and other labor regulations — varies by state and locality and changes over time. JS Event Ops does not guarantee that any calculation, export, or report produced by the software complies with the wage-and-hour law applicable to your business. You are responsible for reviewing all hours and pay data, and for confirming compliance with applicable federal, state, and local law, before using it to run payroll.

Disclaimer of liability for payroll discrepancies

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JS Event Ops and its developer disclaim all liability for payroll discrepancies, underpayment, overpayment, wage claims, penalties, fines, or other losses arising from reliance on data, calculations, or exports produced by the software — including discrepancies caused by inaccurate data entry, missed or incorrect clock actions, connectivity issues affecting offline entries, or misconfiguration by the operator.

Data accuracy depends on use

The software's output is only as accurate as the information entered into it and the clock-in/out actions taken by crew members. Operators are responsible for reviewing and correcting timesheet data before relying on it.

Not legal, tax, or accounting advice

Nothing in JS Event Ops, its documentation, or this site constitutes legal, tax, or accounting advice. Consult a qualified professional for guidance specific to your business.

No warranty

JS Event Ops is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
